I’ve added three new–freely downloadable–classroom writing posters to my Sail the Seven C’s Teacher Expo .
** Here is a short tour of the Expo and its current collection of resources. [More are being added every week.]
A couple of ways to use the quotes…
-
Print out and project onto the whiteboard, but block out key words or a phrase, such as, in the example below, ‘self-doubt’. Let your students fill in the blank.
-
Pose the question, “Have you ever felt the surge of momentum like the faucet Louis L’Amour refers to?
-
Say to your students: “Let’s talk about the blank page. Does anyone have any strategies to get past that uncomfortable moment…minute…hour?”
