I’m working on a writing mini-course, so I’ll be posting some of the activities here, as well.

The activities are intended for a range of writers, though seasoned veterans may not be interested.

Suggestions for teachers:

• Pose the question, “Have you ever reached a point where the character did something you didn’t expect?”

• Ask your students which of the three quotes makes the most sense to them.
